- SIRTFI (Security Incident Response Trust Framework for Federated Identity)
SIRTFI is a framework that enables organizations participating in authentication federations to assert that they have appropriate security measures and incident response capabilities in place to handle security incidents in a trustworthy and coordinated manner. Some eduGAIN SPs require this declaration; therefore, IdPs that wish to access these SPs must assert SIRTFI compliance.The contact person (including an email address) responsible for incident response must be registered and published in the metadata. Both IdPs and SPs can assert their SIRTFI compliance in GakuNin via the GakuNin application system.
